Ulster Heights Vintage Postcard - Fly Fishing

Ulster Heights Vintage Postcard - Fly Fishing

From: Ulster Heights General

$5.00

This restored vintage postcard features a colorful scene of a man fly fishing in a river surrounded by blue water and large boulders. The caption reads "Greetings from Ellenville N.Y."

One of the more recently mailed, it was postmarked August 28, 1970 at the Ellenville post office. It was sent to "Mrs. Marion Goant(?) 3165-138 St. Flushing, N.Y. 11354" with a reassuring message: "Hi:- Glad to drop you a line because everything is fine + dandy. See you soon. Keep well. Regards. Morton Sandler"

We're sure Marion was relieved to hear everything was "fine + dandy" on Morton's fishing trip. When you send this postcard, will you offer similar reassurances, or keep them guessing?

The image of the original back is shown here for historical interest only. Your postcard will arrive with a restored blank back, ready for you to pen your own message to a friend or family member.
