Ulster Heights Vintage Postcard - Road Scene
From: Ulster Heights General
This restored vintage postcard features a view looking across the Botsford Brook bridge at the building that is now the Ulster Heights General store on the right and a large farmhouse across Ulster Heights Road. A small horse and carriage approaches the bridge, below which is the caption "Road Scene" - Ulster Height, N.Y."
Postmarked in Ulster Heights on July 30, 1907, this is the most complete view of the original building we've found. It was addressed to "Miss Edith Davis. 170-172 East 118 Street N.Y.C." but otherwise left completely blank - no message at all.
Sometimes the image says it all. When you send this postcard, will you let the historic scene speak for itself, or add your own story?
The image of the original back is shown here for historical interest only. Your postcard will arrive with a restored blank back, ready for you to pen your own message to a friend or family member.
